New Touchscreen and QWERTY Tracfones - LG500g and LG800g

While Tracfone offers some great savings for many users, their handsets have always been somewhat lacking. Lets face, some of them downright suck! I know by Samsung T301 leaves much to be desired in terms of functionality. Well, Tracfone has finally decided to add some nicely capable handsets to their line up, the LG500g and the LG800g.

Both phones come packed with what are now considered industry standards, though no current Tracfone has. Features include mp3, video recorder, digital camera, expandable SD slot, full HTML browser and more. In addition, both phones are also appable! While these are far from "smartphones" both phones are fully capable and starting at $29, you really can't go wrong with the price!

Two great little phones that will finally motivate me to upgrade that old Samsung T301. Find out if these phones are available for your area

Newest Net10 Texting phone Samsung R355C

If you are looking for an excellent texting prepaid phone but the slider designs don't float your boat, the the Samsung R355C may be your cup of tea. The R355C is Net10s newest addition to their texting phone fleet. Unlike their previous two texting models, this one will be a bar design similar to Blackberries. While this one is not quite as compact as the Net10 T401 or R451, it does offer much more screen real estate.

Of course this isn't simply just a texting phone because it also comes with a full built in MP3 player that can be expanded via the on board SD card (up to 16 gigs). Other features include a 1.3 mp digital camera and bluetooth. One cool feature that's new to net10 is the ability of this phone to connect to a car's blue tooth for hands free talking through the car's speakers. Like all other net10 phones, this one comes with caller id, voicemail, call waiting and call forwarding. You will also be able to either upload or buy all the ring tones you want because this phone also supports both polyphonic and mp3 ring tones.

To sum it up, the R355C is a full featured QWERTY phone for the texting maniac in you. It's quite stylish yet very affordable. The All New Samsung R810C Finesse from Straight Talk

So you want to save money with one of the best Unlimited wireless calling plans on the market but don't want a bland featureless phone? If so, good news because Straight Talk has just introduced the Samsung R810C Finesse smart phone. The R810C is one of the first prepaid touchscreen phones to hit the streets.

This phone is no longer available. View the much improved Straight Talk Samsung T528g

Like all great smartphones, the 810 allows for great browsing capabilities with its full HTML browser, so no more crippled mobile pages with this phone. Of course the Finesse wouldn't be a smart phone if it didn't come with other features like on board 2 mp digital camera with video recording capabilities.

If that wasn't enough, the 810 also features a great onboard built in MP3 player. One of the cooler things is the ability to use up to 16 gig microSD cards for unlimited storage capacity by way of interchanging cards. What's most impressive is that despite being a prepaid phone, the Finesse is 3g capable and since Straight Talk runs on the Verizon network, you can take full advantage of Verizon's great EV-DO 3g coverage. Even better, you can use this 3g coverage without having to pay the high price of regular calling plans since Straight Talk offers a $30 1000 min/1000 texts/30 mb of data in addition to their best selling $45 unlimited calling/texts and 30 megs of data. With either plan, you can use the 810 without having to pay an arm and a leg every month. This indeed is great news if you have been waiting for a true Smart Phone before taking the Straight Talk plunge. Click Here to Learn more about the Samsung R810C.

Introducing the New Straight Talk Samsung R451C

Ever since the introduction of Straight Talk, I have been wanting to switch my wife's service. The only thing that had been holding me back, however, was the phone selection. You see, she is really picky when it comes to what phone she carries so giving her a RAZR wasn't really an option.

Fortunately, Straight Talk (phone is also available for Net10 CDMA areas ) has introduced the Samsung R451C! This is really a great phone because it has plenty of features and it makes for an excellent texting phone. The R451 comes with a sliding QWERTY keyboard so texting will be a breeze. In addition, the R451 features a great MP3 player. The really cool thing about it is that you can actually store your MP3s on separate Micro SD card! You can have low capacity ones for short playlists or a 4Gb SD card for storing a nice sized collection! This really makes this a versatile phone and this feature is uncommon on phones like this. Another thing to love about this phone is the 1.3 megapixel camera that takes quality shots. Are you sick of those grainy phone pics? Well, that won't be the case with this one! Finally, the phone comes with Mobile Web features and since the Straight Talk plan comes with 30megs of monthly access, you are free to do use the MMS Picture sharing feature, download new ringtones or graphics. Please visit the Straight Talk Samsung R451C page for more information.

I think my wife will be satisfied with this phone. There really is nothing about it that says cheap or prepaid so she will not have any reason to complain. She will have a cool modern phone and we will save some nice cash with the Straight Talk plan. Click Here to visit Straight Talk to see if this phone/service plan is available in your area.
